Guideline Lpxe 7-8ft 3 weight Fly Rod

Guideline LPXe 7ft 6in 3wt Fly Rod

This is a lovely little fly rod, ideal for stream/smaller river dry fly fishing.   As far as I can recall, I have used it one one occasion only and it remains in perfect, unmarked condition.  As new in fact.

The action curve of this rod is "mid flex" with a medium/medium fast recovery speed, meaning that the rod primarily flexes from the tip down to the middle with a moderate casting stroke and tempo.

Apparently, as a medium fast  crisp rod, it loads best with a slightly heavier, short headed 3 weight line. Most anglers end up happiest with a true to weight but compact taper, or a half size heavy presentation line.
